CAD for Gardeners
If you want to learn CAD for garden design, you are in the right place.
I will guide you through the reasons for using CAD, how to setup the free version of QCAD, which common drawing shapes to use and how to modify and combine these shapes.
There are also two examples, walking through setting up a CAD plan and putting these tools into practise.
The class is divided into 4 parts:
- Why CAD?
- Setup QCAD
- Shapes, entities, modifications
- Examples
I come from a wildlife and forest garden design background, and the copious resources reflect this. However, the principles you will learn are applicable to any form of garden design.
There is free access to the Guild of Forest Gardeners Telegram group.
